Heritage on the Move

We are getting ready to host youth exchange Heritage on the Move on June 29 - July 7 in Latvia, in capital city Riga and a wonderful village near a lake - Jumurda. Our partners are form Malta, town of Zejtun, Lithuania - village of Skaistgirys and Estonia - town of Toila. The theme of the project is learning about cultural heritage in an active way - cycling. The partners will introduce their countries and their culture in a day devoted to their country. We are really looking forward to the time together in Latvia!

A group from English Camps traveled to Malta and took part in the project Youth- A Mine of Surprises.

March 2006
Snow White and the 7 Mountains took place in Jumurda and involved participants from 4 countries (Slovakia, Lithuania, Poland and Latvia). You can find much more here.

Our exchange between Latvian and Italian youth showed both groups the great value of awareness of both diferences and similarities among cultures and peoples. Our week at Luca in Valmiera was filled with laughter, learning and energy.
